Jenene's First

Jenene just turned 1!! and here's what happened:

Since it's her first birthday we decided to just do a Jollibee party for the following reasons:

1. Her birthday fell on a Monday, so we were expecting guests coming from work or school (or expecting others won't be able to attend) so we need a venue that's accessible to all.
2. Since we're expecting few guests we were saving ourselves from the hassle of preparation and after party cleaning.
3. Based from Anjela's first birthday party, we don't want to tire or stress Jennela out because of very long celebrations.

So with the little help from Jollibee and some suppliers, we pulled it off!

Here's Jennela's party dress bought from Iha. Anjela's dress was also from Iha.

Some of Jennela's accessories:

Initially I would prefer a Barbie party but then during that time that theme was only until August so i chose Hello Kitty theme. (Then I found out that they've extended the Barbie theme, just great!)

Here are the prizes that I bought from Jiestine's shop (Facebook Account). I want something useful so I got the school kits and towels. On the side is the Hello Kitty set from Jollibee (with plate, spoon and fork, cup, and mini towel).

I didn't get to have an OOTD taken but here's one, mom and child OOTD:

My tube dress from Get Laud and sandals from Parisian (just wanted to wear something comfy) and baby's Iha dress.

The party started with a prayer followed by the children's games (I think there were 3 games before they served the food). For the food, we ordered the most expensive package made up of the following:

1. 1 piece chicken joy with rice
2. Spaghetti
3. Regular fries
4. Sundae
5. Softdrinks

Then we've added the following:

1. 1 piece burger steak
2. Regular yum

I got feedbacks saying that the food was plenty but that's better compared to complaints that they're bitin with the food. So everyone got to have their own take home foods.

Of course the party won't be complete without the mascots, I've added Hetty then of course we have Jollibee, here's our family picture with them:

Here are my shoutouts to my suppliers:

Jas Partyneeds for the mini balloon pillars, hanging flower balloons and the #1 mini pillar freebie - highly recommended they're affordable and super professional! Check out their Facebook page for samples and details.

Special thanks to Otep for taking our photos and Printscharm photobooth.

The little girl wanted to make a speech!
