One fine Sunday Morning

Today we had the chance to go to church. Woke up at around 5:00 am and was watching Janice Dickinson's reality show and I woke up Alwyn after hearing his very annoying alarm tone which is a sound of a siren.

At around 6:05 am he was off to work and I started preparing for church. We wanted to attend the 8:00 am mass so we hurried up and to the church we went.

Marikina Church

To our suprise when we arrived, the priest was almost done with his sermon. Yes again, just like the other Sundays, we were late. We taught it will start at around 8:30 but we were wrong. We never get to attend mass on time, their schedule always change.

After the mass in Marikina Church, we went straight to Monasterio de Sta. Clara.

They say that she will grant your wishes, just pray and offer eggs. Based from experience so far, all my prayers came true!

First time I went there was before Yuna's first birthday. I realized that from the time I gave birth to Yuna, there was a storm and was already flooding in the hospital right after my operation. Yuna's baptismal, it was also raining.. Now just to be sure, I prayed to Sta. Clara not to rain on Yuna's first birthday since it will be held in an open venue. During Yuna's birthday no dark clouds showed up the sky. It was freaking hot! My prayer was answered! So I went back and offered prayers of thanks.

Second wish that I made was for me to get the promotion I wanted. After the prayers and offerings, end of year 2008 I got promoted. Again my prayers of thanks goes to Sta. Clara.

Now my nanay also goes to the monastery also for her own prayers and offerings and so far, her wishes were also granted.

Before going to our old residence, we stopped by Crisgard Canteen to get some merienda. My family likes ordering Crisgard's famous Pancit with Lechon Kawali.

I ordered Tofu with pork and Halo-halo and while eating our merienda, we saw my old teachers from high school, Mrs. Ramos (My Computer Teacher) and Mrs. Dancel (My Favorite Adviser). They were ordering food for the school.

We headed straight to Dela Paz (our old house) to get the food that my Tita Emer cooked for my Tito Ferdie's birthday. Yes today's his birthday so for my Tito who's currently sailing... Happy Birthday to you!

Now I'm here sitting in front of the laptop and trying to update this Multiply Site that I created. Yes folks! Here's my new site!

Welcome to my wicked wonderland! :-)
