I've been there several times since elementary. This time we decided to celebrate Nanay's birthday in Splash Island. Not only to visit the place but also to give Anjela another treat (since the last outing that we had, she was sick so she wasn't able to swim).
We finally arrived in the resort after doubting if we should take a right on Binan exit or Southwoods exit. You can feel once you enter the resort, that it's not as fresh as before. You can see that the resort was pretty old and seems like it was not well taken care of. Not that they don't clean the place or anything, it just feels old.
There was a few people in the resort, even if there was a school outing, it was not as crowded as before. Operations of slides were scheduled unlike before, it was non stop.
Good thing we had fun, even if it's just me, Nanay, Tatay, Awi, Tita Emer and Yuna. It was so nice to see Yuna so happy swimming in the pool. Atleast she was able to go the place that we enjoyed before. :)
