Whiterock Beach Resort, Zambales

We were already up by 12:00 am preparing for the things that we're going to bring. My Tita Emer was already in the house a day before to start cooking our food. Who joined us? Basically it's just me, Alwyn, Yuna, Nanay, Tatay, Arrian and Tita Emer.

We left the house at around 3:30 - 4:00 am. We were like foreigners coz we are trying to figure out how to get there and all that stuff. I lead the way coz I have the map. I thought we got lost coz I can't seem to find the landmarks on the map that I was using.

Finally we arrived at around 6:00 am and the place was so quiet. A bit cold coz it's still early. We went to the reception to pay our entrance fee and then we explored the place. The place is super clean! Even the comfort rooms. The place is huge. There's a place where you can play volleyball, obstacle course, there's a henna tattoo artist. You can try the kayaks which I really really love..

The beach itself is not deep. you can walk around without the fear of getting drowned. It's also clean! If you don't want to swim on the beach (which I bet you won't enjoy too much coz the water is just below your knees) you can go to the swimming pools. I stayed in the kiddie pool since Yuna likes playing with the fountains and the twinklers. They also have a new pool with waves, Yuna also like that one.

After swimming, we headed off to the showers. One thing I've noticed on that open shower area, there were rusts falling off of the shower. So I tried to look for a cleaner shower. I went to the spa with my Tita Emer and Alwyn and we enjoyed an hour of relaxing body massage. Tatay bought some souveneir shirts and after taking some more pictures of the place, we headed home.

We passed by Olongapo City and saw the famous Olongapo landmark, "Ulo ng Gapo". Tatay even saw the Chowking branch that we visited before (way back in 1990's, I think 1995). That's was during the time their ship went to the country and we went to Subic and we stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. I'm not sure if the name of the ship was M/V Probo Baro or if it's M/V Patricia. It was my Tatay's birthday we went to the city for a quick tour and we went to that Chowking branch to buy some food for the crew. So I took a picture of that memorable place.

It was really tiring but all worth it. We enjoyed our stay on the resort and I can't wait to go back. If you want a very relaxing vacation in a good resort that is not that far and not very pricey, this is the place to be.
