Writing 101

Today is the first time that I'll teach Jenene on how to write her name. Since she already turned 3, I need to prepare her for school. She already knows how to write the letter "A", so tried the other letters today. Here's what happened 😊

Yey!!! But after that she headed to her sister and started playing. Ok her interest in writing is based on her mood... for now lol. She still needs to practice her second name, middle name and last name.

Carbonara ala Jem

Today's the first time I tried cooking carbonara for the family for my baby's birthday. Excited and nervous coz I don't know how this will go. I just searched for the easiest recipe on the net with the ingredients that I'm familiar with. Sorry at times there are names of ingredients that are just out of this world for me.

With some mixing, loving and praying that it will taste good... Well what do you know, it did taste good! As for my Nanay who is my ultimate critique, my Tita and my cousin. Achievement unlocked!!!

Long Weekend: Feast of Sacrifice

Sunday is family day as always. And since it's going to be a long weekend, plus Yuna's post speech festival victory, we went out for lunch and some playtime.

For lunch we ate in Mang Inasal. An affordable way to eat chicken plus free soup and unlimited rice. As always my order is pecho meal 😁

After lunch we went to Austin Land to play. Jenene rode this car first and spent more than 5 tokens just riding this.

Here's the first thing that Jenene rode inside happy city while I watch frozen movie. I let her play for one hour and that costs 150 pesos (that is their weekend and holiday rate).

Then she went to her playhouse and she has it all for herself.

While we were in the happy city, my mother-in-law, hubby and Yuna was playing this game where you'll bet for a character and if thhat character wins the race you'll get tokens (they actually won 210 tokens just playing this game).

Look at Jenene shooting some hoops! I played this game too and the number of shots I made, made me sweat (wooh workout!) 😂😂

All in all we had fun, just a simple and nice way to spend the long weekend.
